Deekay Exports Limited, a distinguished name in the IMFL manufacturing sector, has been a symbol of quality and innovation since its inception. The company, founded by the visionary Mr. K.Vi. Ravichandar, has evolved from being a distributor of international brands to establishing a legacy in the IMFL industry. With roots deeply embedded in tradition and a vision focused on the future, Deekay Exports Limited has transformed the alcoholic beverage landscape.

Our journey, marked by passion and perseverance, began with a modest bottling unit in Pondicherry and has flourished into a state-of-the-art facility sprawled across 7 acres. With a production prowess of over 7 lakh cases annually and a diverse portfolio of over 15 successful brands, we continue to set benchmarks in the industry.

Located in the vibrant city of Pondycherry, our company has been a beacon of excellence in the IMFL industry. Our commitment to build quality products to the global premise has been unwavering, and our deeper understanding of tye consumer has built natural expertise to ensure our end customers’ satisfaction.

We, at Deeekay Exports Ltd have a strong presence in the conventional brandy/whisky segments, but are also proud to say that we are the first domestic manufacturer to introduce:

– Super Premium Brandy segment in collaboration with France

-Premium Blended Scotch whisky segment

– Premium Vodkas

-Original Premium Tequila imported from Mexico

– A Premium Gin

Journey of the founder

Started his career with 1 bar (FL2 license)

Late 1970s

Entered into the wholesale business (Prime Liquors Company) as a distributor for Diageo (ex-IDV and ex-UDV). Successfully launched, and developed, mainly Green Label whisky as one of the top brands in Pondicherry/ Karaikal/Yanam and Mahe at that time.

1980s

Expanded the portfolio of brands under our distribution scope to other multi-national brands including Seagram's, Budweiser, Foster's in the Pondicherry UT, and Andaman-Nicobar islands.

1990s

Mr. Ravichandar fulfilled his dream of setting up his own bottling unit (Deekay Exports Ltd)

Early 2000s

Launched a first set of successful brands names Jeffrie's Grape Brandy in the medium segment, and Queen's Club VSOP Brandy in the ordinary segment

Early 2000s

Deekay Exports expanded it's geographical presence to the state of Kerala by the supply of its brands

2000s

Deekay Exports becomes one of the rare bottling units to obtain the HMRC licence to bottle Scotch whiskies

2021

Deekay Exports obtains it's licence from the Tequila Regulatory Authority to import and bottle Tequila from Mexico

2022

Deekay Exports Ltd has grown into a state-of-the-art plant, with cutting-edge technology, sophisticated R&D facilities, and an experienced and diverse in-house R&D team from various backgrounds
